The Land Rover Defender 130

We may have found the most luxurious Land Rover on the planet. This Midnight Blue Defender 130 build was inspired by a ’17 Aston Martin DB11. The vehicle was built by E.C.D. Automotive Design, a company known for prestigious Defender builds. The design came from one of E.C.D. ‘s clients, who obviously loves the Aston Martin.

The moment you step inside the Defender 130, you are wrapped in Aston Martin-esque luxury. The seats are Parchment Beige Stitch Corbeau Trailcats that are both heated and ventilated. There is a duotone of Spinneybeck Pueblito and Botany Bay leather throughout the vehicle.

The headliner is made of black suede. The gauges are All American Black Tradition Series, and the steering wheel is a Momo Prototipo usually found on sports cars. The Defender was modernized with wireless charging pads, USB ports, and an upgraded Alpine wireless Car play stereo system.

Under the hood, the Defender 130 sports a naturally-aspirated 565hp LS3 V-8 Corvette engine, which is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Borla Performance exhaust helps the vehicle with its sweet deep sound. The Defender has 20-inch Mondial Retro wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain K02 tires.

You won’t find a Warn VR12 winch on any sports car, but this Defender has one. There are four LED spotlights in the front and two LED work lights on the rear. The Defender also has SVX side steps and a swing-away wheel carrier. Oh, and did we mention the rear bed has been sprayed with Line-X?

With all of these upgrades, one might think he is driving a luxury sports car and forget he is really in a British off-road icon! You can’t have this particular Defender 130, but you can have E.C.D. Automotive Design build your very own modeled after your favorite sports car—for a modest fee, of course.
